Film and TV
The Study of Meddling Manor
My final major film project, a 20-minute fun, crime drama about a group of teens investigating the theft of a priceless family heirloom. For this project I am co-directing and am production designer for the live action. I also wrote the script. This project is design led, incorporating set dressing on location and a set build. For this, I painted and drew art to hang on the walls and photoshopped childhood pictures of the main cast for photoframes and I created the family heirloom brooch using clay, beads and diamantes. For this film we created a colour scheme for each character followed through into hair, makeup, costume and set. The aim was to be bright and colourful, combining animation and live action, with a 2000s nostalgia feel.
Wick
A 5 minute conceptual film project on which I worked as production designer, creating a set in studio to represent an internal mind space of someone with anxiety. A structure of wooden pallets dressed with props such as photography and drawings with charcoal, soft pastel and biro.
Blue World
A 5 minute narrative film about someone running into their ex girlfriend at a party. On this I worked as production designer, focusing on colour pallete and the contrast of blue and orange to echo past and present and loneliness and love. This included dressing a kitchen and living room for a party and also a bedroom and kitchen for flashback sequences.
